Honda Dealers Offering Huge Incentive to Increase December Sales

After lower than expected sales in November, Honda Motor Company is offering bonuses of $3000 per vehicle sold to U.S. dealers. The motor company has added these incentives to push their new car business for the final month of 2013. Dealers can use the incentive money to lower prices on new vehicles or give cash back incentives for new car, truck or SUV purchases.

Many auto dealers offer incentives and bonuses to boost car sales, but this Honda deal is special, because Honda normally does not offer incentives or discounts this size. John Mendel, executive vice president of Honda’s U.S. operations, said the promotion is geared to exceed Honda’s December 2012 U.S. sales of 116,740 vehicles.

Honda’s November new car sales numbers were disappointing compared to Toyota Motor Corporation, Nissan Motor Company, General Motors Company and Chrysler Group LLC, each which grew their November numbers to double digit gains. Dealers commented that Honda’s November sales were lower than expected due to unimpressive incentives on leases.

Customers looking to trade in their leased Accord for a redesigned 2013 model were looking at increases in their car payments of $50 to $100. For the latest dealer rebates and incentives, go to CarDealerRebates.com today and get a FREE quote today.
